I am intrigued by this Guymer back to 11 move. I watched him on the edge for NSW U19 and he was good.
I think most of us here see his future at 13 (or for me at Prop). But he played edge and centre most of his junior career from what I saw/heard, and there is a position there in our NRL side to be won. We lack edges, and if a players steps up they can have that position as theirs.
It's my most anticipated move this weekend. Will be really hoping he steps up.
It's a good team. This is my currently best 17 swapping Tuilagi for Kautoga and Lomax for Russell.
I would have Matterson on the edge and Guymer back to the bench to replace Doorey, other then that it looks like a decent side, eels by 6

I feel Matto and Cartwright have had there cards stamped.
Cartwright in particular could he offer more than what we have? Maybe but he's had a 10 year career he's not going to get better JR knows what he brings so he probably sees no point in blocking another players path.
Matto is in the same boat but also he hasn't been a edge for some time and Hopgood and Walker are in his position and the question is does matto offer more then them?
I don't like being a negative Nancy when everyone is so upbeat after a win, however it is a bit daunting when you look at our edge forwards compared to the Sharks.
100% SE they've got the best duo in the comp.Nikora without a doubt is thee best line running backrower in the comp and is complimented well on the other side with the hard working athletic Tieg Wilton.
These 2 make there halves decision making ALOT easier and also bring the dangerous Will Kennedy into play.We should be worried as our edges will get tested for sure and also don't forget the Sharks back 5 there deadly also coming out of yardage.
For me this game has UGLY written all over it if our fowards don't stand up we'll get eaten in the middle the score could be anything.

Sharks are pretty unfit, if we defend well and stay within 12 at the 50th minute mark I think we can win
I wouldn't be surprised if Doorey moves to the starting side and Guymer drops back to the bench. That being said Guymer played on an edge coming through the grades.
