NEWS: Eels winger Bailey Simonsson has apparently gone down with a fractured foot last night, which would put him out for Upto 10 weeks potentially. Such disappointing news, was finding his feet again…
He will have scans today to confirm.

      • The foot injuries started last year with moses and paulo.

      • This sounds very logical

Perhaps a build up in muscle and support in one area of the foot then compromises another part of the foot when directionality is changed 🤔

  • Perhaps the club's new footwear sponsor Oxen sport can help us here smile

  • FFS.

    From bad to worse.

  • Has any thought been put into the idea that maybe opposition are targeting the feet As in stomping on them in a tackle or even just in general play I'm pretty sure it is was Jarome Luai who stood on Mitch's foot last year and I reckon it was deliberate Can anyone look into that incident/game against riff

    • it was manly game round 3 when he injured his foot

      • Ok So I saw another incident where Luai looked like he deliberately trod on Mitch's foot Looked pretty blatant

  • Noooo damn hes been unlucky

  • Disappointed to see him get injured again..

I've been a fan of his since he joined us. Offered speed out wide as we clearly lacked it with some of our past outside backs.

Guymer, Russell should be in the team either!

  • Is it kellyvilles surface contributing ??

"Yea I like Samrani as a 17 rather than a starting backrower. Tuilagi will probably be selected this week with Guymer back on the bench or cup. Latu needs a couple more games in Cup before being a chance of NRL selection I would think."

"Yep thats the thing. I dont think anyone expected some players to be so much on the outer and JR blood so many younger players. Its why we are suffering this short term pain. Hopefully its better for the long run."
