2nd Test vs India

Anyone following?

I can't believe we're in a winning position!!!

Our bowling unit is great. We though dearly miss both Smith and Warner.

I reckon we're going to win this one and keep the series interesting.

India 2/15 chasing 287.

  • Love your passion mate albeit posting a blog at the start of the 4th innings!

Anyway, that pitch is doing a LOT. I'm just glad I'm not out there facing a new ball. How many injuries have we seen to hands, fingers, elbows and the like? The Aussies are in a good position atm, we need to get the world's biggest cricketing hurdle out of the way in Kholi who found form 1st innings. If we get him for less than 50, it's safe to say we have the 2nd test wrapped up.

    Go Aussies!

    • Mate, I (and I assume all the Aussie public and fans) became disillusioned after the sandpaper scandal in S.A. That's not the Aussie way. He play hard but fair. That was the biggest disgrace since the under arm incident with the Chappell brothers.

I still think we are really weak when it comes to batting. I don't like Paine as captain in the team because he can't score a century to save his life. I'd rather have Wade who's killing it in the shield and I'd make Nathan Lyon captain. He's at the peak of his game and has the respect of his team mates and fans. I'd drop Marsh and bring in Tom Cooper who is also raking in the runs in the SS.

      • Sandpaper gate was the best thing to happen to Aussie cricket in a strange way.

That Aussie team was very difficult to back over the previous 2 or so years and I blame Lehman. He watched over the over the top and ridiculous sledging for a couple of years and the buck stops with him. Nothing was done and it became progressively worse to a point I was almost hoping the Aussies would lose just to pull the heads in of blokes like Warner.

Anyway, it's a new era and quite enjoyable to watch.

      • But the question is, do you pick a keeper-batsman on their keeping or batting? Because Paine is miles ahead of Wade as a keeper. And funnily enough, Paine has a better Test average than him.
  • It all comes down to Kohli
    • I agree. If we can get him for less than 50 then we should be good to win.

  • It would also be good if Starc bowled at the stumps
  • and the G.O.A.T reels in Kohli!!!

Put the champers on ice I say!!!

Αποτέλεσμα εικόνας για champagne on ice

    • We did that once and Allan Border ended up destroying a dressing room.
  • We couldnt settle on a spinner for a long time there after Warne.. Lyon really cementing himself as a household name these days. Shouldn’t lose from here...

"Longfin Eel Finny, whilst Ryles may have identified multiple players that we couldn't get over the line, there has to be a reason for that.
1. Is that they were restricted by their own fiduciary requirements.
2. They did not have the experience of a…"
