Is Jarome Luai worth going after?

Greetings all! I'm new to this site and this is my 1st post. Love him or hate him, Jarome Luai's combination with Mitch Moses for NSW was electric. Imagine those two being our halves combination.

    • 100 percent,  Jerome is winner and he would bring a great energy but I wouldn't break the bank - he was a half back in his early playing days.

  • We don't get to have nice things

    Hi Joeyboyz

    • G'day mate. It would be nice.

  • Welcome mate. Unlikely but hey if we signed him I wouldn't be against it.

    • G'day LB. I wouldn't be against it either.

  • It would be a bit hypocritical of him to leave after the club-first stance he took during the Galvin saga.

    • Yet still has the options in his favour.

    • Richard, good point. A quickish backflip after backing-Benji with 'Team-First' public declarations isn't great optics — though excuses are easy to come by.

Richo might want to hold off axing Benji, post 1/11. Would Luai try re-negotiate before that for more options in his favour threatening to leave under certain conditions? Whose Luai's agent?

  • He is not the player Ryles wants, glad because he is a overpaid cancer

    • True, but in my opinion so is Da Silva. Judging by his signing, looks like Parra aren't afraid to pay top dollar.

LB replied to Cʜɪᴇғy Mclovin 🐐's discussion Regan Campbel Gillard asked to look elsewhere
"No hard feelings towards RCG. Ryles simply didn't want him past 2025, he got an offer past 2025 and he took it. Now he is going to SL where he admitted in the past he was open to always going to and travel. "

"Doubt he's offered a standard nrl contract but he might hang around our cup side on some lower grade type thing. No harm keeping him around the club in that capacity "
