You sometimes forget the pressure on these guys from friends, family, coaches whatever at such a young age
Was there a Rouse Hill Rhino playing in his position?
Every club loses top talent. Look at the Tigers with Addo-Carr and Papenhausen. We just need to be better at locking in and identifying talent earlier. Under Ryles its happening. BA was more concerned about the now because for him worrying about the development of younger players - BA Bushie didn't want to risk his career on development thats why our reserve grade was full of other clubs rejected players.
Every club has a thousand of these stories, sometimes they just aren't it at the time and someone else is, some peak early then fade whilst others struggle early and blossom late.
But very few clubs have a long history of it like Parramatta.

What I got out of this article when i read it , is exactly why tigers always find themselves in these Galvin and da Silva predicaments . Basically promising the world to kids , why would you indicate to a kid that is still in sg ball that he may get a gig at some stage in first grade when he hasn't even completed the pre season .
so make him feel like he is a superstar and deserves everything and when he won't get it , he will walk out
