Our NSW cup game against Mounties (Dogs reserve grade team) will be streamed on Foxtel / Kayo tomorrow at 11:30am AEST. I just thought to create a blog that is similar to what Grunta does for the first grade games. Really excited to watch the game.
This will be the 150th club game between these two with one of the fiercest rilvaries that began in 1947 at Belmore. And we have played the Dogs more than any other side in the competition.
In the last two weeks, the Eels have bounced back after their
“I have come here to chew bubble gum, and kick ass. And I am all out of bubble gum,” said the Eels to the Newcastle Old Boys reunion last week (They Live). While a depleted Knights were little more than roadkill in the Eels’ 40-4 victory in Round 13,
With many Eels fans saying our season was dead and BA should be shown the door normal service resumed today. Against an understrength Knights side the Eels were clinical and solid in attack and defence. Forward dominance and offloads were back and th
"It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get up" is a Lombardi maxim that applies for the Eels for the rest of the year. Perhaps, forever.
This week, facing a heavily depleted Knights missing a galaxy of their stars, the Eels are expec
A lot of people don’t get 1Eyed Eel. They see the argy bargy, the cynicism, the venting after each shitty performance, and they can too-quickly jump to conclusions about what the site is all about. Those that don’t get it, never get to learn that it’
He's been sorely missed. We sweated it out vs the Warriors and were belted by Manly and Souths alike. Competely exposed as a defensive unit making us look like a bottom 4 side the last 2 weeks. Blasted away and never had a hope once the opposition sn
The Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce that the Club and our halfback, Mitchell Moses, have agreed to terms on a contract extension, to the end of 2024.
Ryan Matterson has exercised his option for the 2022 NRL season.
Hello, good evening, and welcome to another edition of blood, devastation, death, war, and horror. And so began S3, Ep.30 of Monty Python’s Flying Circus. Yet so too it is looking grim for the Eels and Bunnies as they enter Round 12, having each play
Holy crap, I thought there were so many ineffective tackles tonight. It was not just our right edge. Manly were able to offload the ball so easily even when we had 3-4 players in the tackle.
Parramatta fans' deepest fears came true on Sunday afternoon as the Manly Sea Eagles exploited the nearly invisible defensive efforts of Waqa Blake to the tune of four tries and a sin binning, leading to a fifth try.
Not even a bout of gastro was keeping this Eels supporter from watching the game on Sunday. With my phone perched on pillows, among water bottles and me barely cogniscent enough to switch Kayo on, I still somehow found the strength to cheer on the Bl
Here we go Again. Manly and Parra. A top eight clash. Two hated arch-rvals with a long history. Two rising forces of 2021 collide. Two confident and in-form teams.
Eels are 5 from the last 5, Manly are 4 from 5 only losing against the might of the Pan
"The only issue I have is the head knocks because he puts himself in the strangest positions for a big man sometimes. But majority of his long term injuries were inflicted by other players in tackles for the past two seasons."
"Great news on all 3. I'm suprised many don't think Moretti is a good keep. He is just coming to age for Prop forwards (Mid 20's) and runs some great lines. I think he needs to have Williams show him the ropes and Luca, Teacum and Tuivaiti need to…"
"Slightly surprised at Moretti considering we have lots of forwards coming through. But at the same time, I have sensed him slightly going another level in our improved post origin performances.
All in all good news. Tuivati especially needs to be…"
