Now for the dynasty...

Regardless of whether Parramatta wins this year's grand final or not, the club is on the verge of a new dynasty that could even surpass the glory days of the eighties.Jarryd Hayne's four-year re-signing will be the centrepiece of this dynasty. There

Rd 10 - Review - Right Edge Defence

Player in focus will be Waqa Blake (Missed 6 tackles)

As you can see, it was just a normal hit up for the warriors. Blake tries to be aggressive, however as the bottom left photo shows, he is coming from a bad angle and doesn’t have his body in front

R10 v Warriors: dead chooks down, Warriors next

In the words of the classic literary masterpiece penned by the immortal Bret Michaels, “we both lie silently still in the dead of the night. Although we both lie close together, we feel miles apart inside”. And that was the Eels and Roosters late las

The Fast And Furious: Set Restarts, Penalties, Discipline

Despite being one of the most significant changes to the game - and its so-called "speed" or continuity - nrl.com's stats ignores them. Foxstats records them, yet, they do it game by game and don't collate it.

Restarts awarded: Eels Equal 2nd

Judiciary From Eels vs Roosters

Parramatta five-eighth Dylan Brown is facing at least three weeks on the sidelines while centre Marata Niukore is facing a two-match ban after both were charged by the match review committee following Friday night's win over the Roosters.

Brown was hi

Eels Crow after Slaying Roosters

Do you know how long I've been wanting to write that headline? It's my favourite headline and appeared on an advertisement on the Eels team poster from 1986.

That wasn't pretty and the Eels could pay dearly for that win with possible suspensions hang

Parramatta set to re-sign star lock Nathan Brown in a big boost

Parramatta lock Nathan Brown tested his value with clubs like Manly but has opted to remain at the Eels to be part of Brad Arthur’s premiership plan.

Beating the Roosters: A Blueprint

Much has been written of the Roosters' form this season and their lack of luck on the injury front. They're not the Cooper Cronk-led behemoth of 2018 and 2019 but they remain one of the toughest and most consistent teams in the competition.

However,

R9 v Roosters: A Test Of Character

"There are teams that wait for you and teams that look for you", says Pep Guardiola one of the world's most respected football coaches. And the Eels are still waiting. Five long years to taste victory over the Tricolours. To end their worst run in 21

Vs.

Yes, very different players, but how would you compare:

Clint vs Jarryd +  Maika vs Semi

Right here, right now, I'd take Clint in a heart beat over Jarryd. The way I'm seeing CG's game develop, he's becoming like Luke Ricketson, or RCG or dare I say it

Dylan “I need a few weeks in NSW Cup to deflate my massive ego” Brown

I think at any of the other top 4 sides, the astute & accountable coaches would send Dylbags down to reggies given his performances & contributions.

He is on very good coin but TBH i just don't see the value for money v the perceived hype.

R8 v Dogs: is a loss pawsible?

Well, who let the dogs out? The Dogs finally cracked it for a win last week, upsetting the coach-less and somewhat toothless Sharks. This week we expect the Eels will hound them back into their kennel, but despite the Dogs currently competing for the

Full strength bench

Look looking ahead with some players returning from injury. What would be our best bench when we're at full strength?

I would have: Smith, Papali'i, Niukore, Kaufusi

As much as I think Papali'i deserves to start instead of Materson I just think our ben
