I still rate Vaughan. Yes what he did was dumb but I can get past it. The Dragons saw an opportunity to relieve themselves of a backended 2022 deal worth $800k.
He's a quality front rower, has great hands and decent defence. He's also good mates with Reg.
I'd be making enquiries. He'd definitely add to our pack.

  • At our price, immediately ! BA could coach the shit out of him.

    • Agree

      • F NO!

Sometimes I cringe how every time a D Head player gets sacked and some Eels fan chucks this vomit up. The bloke is up there with Corey as NRL "D head Immortal". (Obviously no one is better than DH Goat Corey)

I do have to remember sometimes there is a large portion of our fan base living in carboard cartoon houses west of St John's park who pisss their centrelink payments through the pokies every Wednesday. So unfortunetly we do have to deal with our reetarted brethen.

Thank god the majority of decision makers currently at the Eels are a little further North East and have some intelligence and Tact.

        • Wow aren't you a condescending know all. Congratulations.
BA has an excellent track record of straightening a wayward soul with ability. Vaughan is hardly on the end spectrum of troublesome players. Hes played for NSW and Australia.....like his best mate RCG.
You're entitled to your opinion but thanks for being a complete douche about it.

        • We had Mau and Wicks, who had both been charged with offences, much worse than Vaughan's. So what's the big deal?

          • Not just charged, convicted and did time in the big house.

            • Exactly.

              • I want Eels to be a premiership club, Paul Vaughan is a rebuilding club kinda player facts are facts.

Man of wisdom old Cooper Cronk. Some of you bone heads should take a listen.

In NSW Cup last week, Tevita Taumoepenu was on the bench for South Sydney. Seems we were able to offload him too. So another spot in the top 30 now available. Just another odd top 30 future signing we made that went horribly wrong. He was nothing…
