Eels name NRLW Top 5

The Parramatta Eels have announced the signing of their top five NRLW players for the 2021 season.

Under an NRL plan to ensure the 2021 competition has an even spread of talent, a group of elite female players have been centrally contracted and are being spread across the competition.

Joining the Eels are NSW fullback Botille Vette-Walsh, Australian and NSW centre Tiana Penitani, Australian and NSW lock Simaima Taufa, NSW prop Filomina Hanisi and NRLW 2020 Rookie of the Year Kennedy Cherrington.

Parramatta will continue to announce signings in the coming weeks as the club fills out its 24 player roster with a host of NRLW players hitting the open market along with strong junior pathways including Mounties' Harvey Norman Women's Premiership side and Parramatta's Tarsha Gale Cup squad.

  • I note that Dean Widders is the coach, so I'm just going to throw this out there...SACK DW!

    • LOL, I agree Milky, he has had enough time to get this right.

Now if we lose the first game, do we sack 1. the coach 2. the half back or 3 Both

It is obvious already the defense coach is no good or we couldn't publish this.

How long do we have to wait for a premiership.

      • Well to be fair, the men won a comp 35 years ago, the women have never won one. Sack DW!

      • 9187039093?profile=RESIZE_930xMilky?? Pops, if I were you I'd be heading straight to OPSM for a new pair of coca cola glasses ;)

    • Imagine the girls win the comp this year. We'd have a million blogs saying sack BA, replace him with DW.

      • lol, that's a given...

      • Swap roles?
