So you think Talagi should just be thrown the keys to fullback or he runs off to the roosters?
What I'm suggesting is lomax will play fullback next year with talagi potentially moving into the role when he's actually ready and lomax shifting to centre

Grow into is body? He ain't a prop. There are smaller fullbacks in the nrl currently. There is nothing wrong with his size or strength.

I don't think Gutherson will play fullback beyond this year. But he's still contracted next year and I'll think he will play Centre
Let's hope some ESL team comes looking for him with a multi year deal in the next few months then. He was always signed for a year too long , and now we are going to be forced to have one of the highest paid , oldest and slowest out of position makeshift centres in the comp . The club originally wanted this season to be his last and he went public to force our hands into paying him a year longer than was in the clubs interests,.
Now people are trying to convince themselves he's better than he is because iof their nostalgic love affairs with his prior years highlights. Winning clubs make the tough calls and move players along or into coaching . Meanwhile we miss the boat on signings that would put us in a better position or lose young blokes to oportunity at other clubs.
I'm putting Blaize at 1 and Gutho at 4 for the rest of this year. Why the hell not? Honestly why wait? If Gutho is a clubman he'll relish the chance to assist the young kid become a gun FB. This season is finished we may as well use it to develop our future.
"What about Cowboy's assistant James Maloney? Fitzgibbon is doing well with the Sharks as a first time coach and Maloney is a winner. Success seems to follow him. Has history with the club too. Although we let him go to Melbourne without recognising…"
