Let's be real

We are too busy wanting players coaches like Wayne Bennet or Michael Maguire who seem highly unlikely. Bennet all but gone to Bunnies and Maguire is with NSW. Jason Ryles has the Melbourne gig when Bellamy retires, we can't have a manly man (Toovey) coach us.

Think we get someone from UK,

Won't mind flyer's on James Maloney or Sam Burgess

  • I'd take Holbrook. I really don't want Madge.

    • Holbrook never really coaches good defensive teams. Madge i would love as he has a point to prove, already knows some boys from NZ and NSW, plus has had a few years to reflect on his failures at Souths and Wests, plus the big bonus he has a Premiership ring.

      • LB the only coaches who have won a premiership as coach at 2 clubs is the greats.  bennett, Sheems, Gould, Fulton, Gibson.

Everyone focused on a premiership winning coach but I think we need to get fresh ideas into the club with new coach for the new style of game that NRL has become.  If it isn't Bennett it is Ryles, McNamara or Hannay for mine.

        • The reason i like a premiership winning coach is due to him being able to get there, he's been there before. Madge has been in a different arena the last few seasons, that will help keep his mind fresh and new. I mean look at Sheens Went to NQ after Canberra where his record is deplorable and then goes to Wests and nabs a 4th title, and 1st with a second club.

Regardless of who you bring in, any coach would bring in fresh ideas.

  • Maloney

  • Fui Fui Moi Moi

    • Gareth Hock

  • I reckon madge would love to coach the eels

    • Madge would love most, if not all, NRL jobs.
