Well this makes sense, in the press conference he looked like he had be been emotional in the sheds, eyes were glassy.
See this is the thing, the team can still perform well but they need the key group playing well for 80 mins. We could have won last weekend; and I think if Brown and Sanders have decent games along with the key forwards we can win some games while Gutho is out.
Yes FB is a large hole but the Knights won without Ponga and tbh their halves are not great. No doubt Broncos / Melb will be extremely tough but we faced adversity before in 2016 (cap issue year) without some quality and won games.
Lets not look for bloody excuses as these players need to stand up. Blaize should be FB and lets see how he goes.
Options for Flb are: Blaize, Asi, Russell or Bailey. Would probably go with Blaize to get some reps into him but see what BA does.

Gutho is the heart and soul of this team. We're about to find out just how important he is. This could get very, very ugly. Blaize is not the answer to NRL FB in 2024. He's miles away still.
I just hope that this doesn't present an easy excuse to management as to why our season is dusted. If they persist with the status quo I honestly don't think I can watch it anymore.
Indeed. Once he was off last year we fell apart. There's gonna be multiple 40-0 odd scorelines coming up.
It amazes me how undervalued Gutho is by those who aren't Parra fans. I reckon he saves as many tries as he sets up and I don't think there's anyone in our setup (Moses included) who has more influence on whether we win or lose a game than Gutho.
Get ready for some huge scorelines and some dropped heads.

Gutho hasn't been right all season. Why was he kicking on 1 leg last week? Is this why Cini played fb in reserves a few weeks ago?
