Gus getting destroyed by media and fans.

Hard to feel sorry for the bloke when he goes on national tv a few weeks ago denies any interest in a player then signs him a few short weeks later. Media and fans are absolutely crushing his credibility and it's just a bad look for the game when a player takes 500k less to join the club that Gus is the head of. Pressure will firmly be on the bulldogs this season as anything less then a title will lead to a backlash

            • Aren't telling lies to get what you want cheating.

              • I don't think so.

            • Very true, ask yourself 'why did the Tigers all along know he was going to the Dogs, even before he asked for a release'?

    • 'I don't get this attitude of hating on someone who out-maneuvered us'

Absolutely, Cap. This isn’t a competition in who can sell the most Girl Scout cookies. Welcome to the world of professional sport.

Gould was bending the rules? Great, why weren't we?

Gould the naughty boy lied to the media? Is that the same media who spend literally 24 hours a day posting lies to the public? How could he.

It's great we are the best student in class & head the book club on Saturdays, but Gould has just rolled in on his motorbike & stole our prom date.

If we don’t like Galvin or don’t rate him, 100% fair enough, but seriously, Gould has done exactly what he set out to do - nothing but respect for pulling off a great coup, while the Eels now look for Plans C & D, as A & B are gone.
      • 💯 plan C and D the ones moaning the loudest are the ones who will shout the house down what Gus are doing but are dead set silent about the big L we have in the R & R committee the guys responsible for not closing the deal.

      • Spot on NOS

      • Telling lies isn't bending the rules. It's not playing by the rules. If you're not going to play by the rules the get rid of them all and have anarchy and chaos

      • Girl Scout cookie selling competitions are fucking cut-throat, man.

"No.
Its no use chasing a guy like this you have to find players like this not wait until there something then expect you have a chance to recruit them. This is how you get into cap trouble overpaying to get a guy like this moved."
