BEM, good points re Storm systems and LIttle Pap's right attitude and defensive application.
The main issue with Pezet is the likely asking price. It heightens the risks & conseqences for the balance of the squad. If it were around the 500K mark with healthy ratchet clauses and incentives, I could live with it.
He's still a rookie, albeit a highly talented one imo with a game-changing kicking game and ability to be a General. Keys reasons our winning rate drops from 54% to 27% when Moses plays or doesn't. He could add something to ours that few teams have. Multiple canons.
Yeah the price would be based on two things. 1) potential and 2) the position value.
When is it likely to be actually official
CE, you are making some sense on this thread.....but it is supposedly 1st Novemeber that officially you can negotiate.
I don't think Parra would leak anything or for that matter Storm either......so it leaves Pezets Manager, He himself or relatives or insiders.......
There is also this weird thing that people want to make things up to give them some superficial status on social media, the scoop fits very firmly in the ego of some of our members......The overall strike rate would be less than 10% at my guess.
Personally, I would much prefer to see sound discussions about the logic and that seems to have happened now with Pezet, whereas he has now been announced on this blog . BUT NOT OFFICIALLY

No idea about Pezet but I do have a feeling that Ryles has had him as a project for quiet a while.
All i can say about Lomax as I certainly hope not. He is an extremely important person for our side, I would hate to lose him.....he is the driver for the whole team. Moses may have the steering wheel but Lomax has the gears.
Totally agree about Lomax. Not too sure about Pezet but I think Ryles is a smart operator
Hi Poppa, are you sure he has to wait till Nov 1? I had the impression that since he has a get out clause stating that if Hughes re-rigns, he is free to look elsewhere, then the minute the Storm made it official that Hughes did re-sign, Pezet was free to negotiate & sign elsewhere from that moment on?
