Well what can he actually do? All he can do is sue them for breach of contract, even then not worth the hassle. Not like yoh can arrest them if they leave the country for R360.
You say we will ban you and he will say "great, I'll take my $3mil a year". What can V'Landys actually do? At the end of the day if you were offered 10x what you are on now with a new mob doing the same job you are currently doing, you saying you wouldn't take it? Not the NRL's fault.
Also with compensation, how is that going to be? Added to our cap? If so I think many other clubs would be pissed as we would be if it happened to them not us.
If R360 is offering 3 mill a season what do you want the NRL to do. His worth about 600/700 k per season. Zac is a good player and will never be a champion.
We could do worse - he's no Lomax, but he does kick and can handle a wing.
Far out it's annoying to lose Lomax though, I mean I get it and I don't blame the guy at all, but can Parra please start getting a bit more luck going our way? It's enough that we've made a heap of bad decisions in R&R, we don't need bad luck thrown into the mix as well.

We all would love Lomax to stay but if his mind isn't on Parra then no point in forcing the bloke to stay. Great player but if he wants to move on then so be it
That's bullshit Eli and whats more why are you guys so focussed on Lomax. If you think the NRL are going lie down and not enforce the contracts then you do not understand Vlandys at all.

What about the other players that will be breaking contracts, one way or another Vlandys will make it hard and futuristically uncomfortable for any player breaking a contract.
This whole process is going to be negative at every national association level and a lot of legal fees will be accruing, whose going to pay legal costs, this is not a players association supported process!
He's a good player but if his mind isn't on the job then I don't see a reason in keeping him. Plenty of other nrl players who will jump at the chance of playing first grade. But we don't know what his headspace is at the moment so we have to wait and see
Vlandys will definitely make it difficult, keen to see how it plays out 😂
