  • Surely our Dylan Brown money straight to Deardon. Would be the best halves pairing in the NRL

    • We have signed a dozen players since Dylan Brown signed with the Knights. We don't have his money any more. It was spent long ago.

      • You keep laying it out there Pou but  some folks don't want to listen to reason

        • They need some serious Pousplaining.

      • Dozen players????? Pezet, de Belin and Kelly are our signings. That's bearly 1m in 3 players.

they have money in 2027 to spend on a half with pezet and Matterson gone, plus they have let go Lomax on 700k plus the following . Don't give me this bullshit line eels have no money in cap to spend on half

        • Dylan Brown: Newcastle Knights
        • Joe Ofahengaue: Leigh Leopards
        • Bryce Cartwright: Retired
        • Shaun Lane: Retired
        • Wiremu Greig: Townsville Blackhawks
        • Joey Lussick:
        • Dan Keir: South Sydney Rabbitohs
        • Haze Dunster:
        • Brendan Hands: Toulouse Olympique
        • Dean Hawkins: London Broncos
        • Matthew Hunter:
        • You're forgetting Dylan Walker & Tallyn da Silva.

        • Also add lomax,

Plus the year prior we lost rcg, sivo, gutho.

Rcg  was reported on 850k  gutho 800k and sivo was probz straight swap for adocar and possibly loosing matto soon.

Before anyone says we replaced gutho for iongi, iongi would not be on 800k

        • The dozen players includes a bunch of extensions which would include upgrades, because that's how inflation works. In this case inflaton refers to the effect of a new club entering the comp. $12M worth of new NRL salary for the same number of players. Part of our salary cap goes toward competing with that.

  • What about deardon for lomax?

    • Now that's thinking
