V'Landys said he'll see what the Courts say. Whatever the judge rules, everyone has to abide by it, even V'Landys. V'Landys can't simply ignore the Judge.
All V'Landys said was he wants the best players in the NRL. He never said he'll ignore the Courts decision, he can't do that even if he wants to.
I don't want Lomax sitting on the sideline for 3 years either. It doesn't do anyone any good. All I want is Parra to get their fair exchange of value as per the release. To any NRL club out there, if you want Lomax, the Eels want a similar level player or some type of hybrid deal of similar value. This isn't that difficult to understand.
Melbourne if you want Lomax, you know the players the Eels want in exchange. Or how about a lower grader of our choice plus some cash, or a fringe/bench player and you have to take Matterson at full freight this year? This can all be worked out through negotiation. But so far, your take it or leave it approach, culminating in "we're taking him and there's nothing you can do about it" hasn't worked. You're about to learn that lesson from the Judge too.
Fuck I hope that last sentence becomes the truth.
What I don't like is all the deflection and hence why I commend JS and the club and the stance they've taken. They have the legal high ground and they don't really have to prove or say anything .ZAC is this your signature did we cohearse you in anyway when you signed this legal document.
For me it's really that simple they can use restraint of trade and all the rest of it but how exactly are Parra doing the mentioned when Zac knew what was put in front of him at the time of the release. He knew it we knew it hence why these conditions for me are now trying to be cohearsed into his defense by saying a restraint of trade. Then you have Melbourne dragging PVL and the nrl into the discussion when this is clearly and A and B conversation so all the rest of you can wait outside thanks.
What a hypocrite! His 10 year ban had absolutely nothing to do with any time factor! If ANY NRL player makes a deal with R360 it's a 10 year ban!!! Regardless of time, who the player has nothing to do with it! This is all about V'Landys helping the Storm more than anything else
Is Zac about to become the NRL owned "V'Landys controlled" Papua New Quinea Chiefs first Marquee Signing on $1.5 million tax free $$$$.
I think there is even more in this!
Cannibal Zac
Ive said it before the gut feeling is we are going to get shafted which ever way it goes
There has to be, Vlandys has become very vocal.
Nice theory BE. I'm not being smart either you might be onto something.
