True mate He is a decent defender Though maybe that's the reason why you find him out the back with his hands on his hips in attack Seriously though He's built like a brick shithouse I couldn't imagine myself running at him when he's fired upÂ
They'd have the cap space, you'd think? Geographically would work best for Fifita as it's hard to see how Broncs / Cowboys could accommodate him.Â
I could see the appeal also with the space & opportunities Katoa creates for his edges, he looks destined to be the next elite half in the game - absolute gun.
I'd love to see Fifita at the Eels, but wherever he goes could create an opportunity for Parra to jump at whoever he replaces in the starting line up.
He's got all the ability but as we see with some of these players, let's see if they are still putting in next season for example May as some have mentioned. NRL is a tough game and discipline is key. Parra have given such players a go over the years and at times it works for a season but others it ends in tears.Â
I'm not sure of any other clubs that would be as desperate as us for a destructive edge runner. He would have a point to prove but I still think he is considerably unfit and lazy in defence.
Maybe working with a more superior halves pairing might switch something on with him.Â
Titans would know we would be thirsty for him so they may try and not chip in as much as we would like. Plus the Titans may offload Hasler due to his poor record which may keep Fifita at the club.
Everyone saying no would flop their dicks out and start stroking the moment he signed.
To me it's a no brainer. If he's available and is keen to play under Ryles and with Moses, it's a massive yes from me. We need a wrecking ball that can run hard and break defenses. We haven't had that since Fui.
I've never really rated David Fifita or understood the hype to be honest. I know a lot of people might have a go at me on here but whenever he plays the commentators go "Look out, it's big David Fifita!" but most of the time he doesn't do anything. He's certainly not worth 1 million like they are talking about.
If you look at David fifita s career stats they are comparative to Steve Menzies second term at manly. Fifita has been called lazy, fat, over rated and over paid. I would hate to see what will happen when and if a coach could unlock the beast.
"This is a very winnable game. Dolphins record in Sydney is offset by Wyatt Raymond who has been dreadful with us, just cannot stand the bloke as a referee. Thankfully we have won a game with him in the middle.
This is crucial for us avoiding spoon.…"

Dolphins might be in that conversation also, Bup.
