I feel very weird about the game. We should have won but did we deserve to win?
Up until the last 10minutes, we were getting most calls our way. But than last 10min the herbie penalty and the lack of 6 blatant 6 agains by the ref was horrendus.
Iongi bombed a certain try and we had 3 linebreaks that ended up producing nothing. Our attack was not clinical with the number of errors were producted in their 20m line. The attention to details with passing and handling was unacceptable.
Our yardage was arguably the worst I have ever seen in an NRL game. We produced sub 30m and even sub 20m sets way too much. Moses was kicking from way to deep in our own half way too often.
Defensively we missed plenty I feel and got beaten in the ruck so much that Dolphins were rolling us down field with ease.
Felt like there were way too many negatives from that games to feel like we were even in the contest. Yet somehow we should have won the game from tries out of nothing really.
Pretty well summed up this. We were slightly surprised by how amazing their metre-age was, and how shit ours was.
Moses' game plan was also weird, he was just depending on the pack and the kick, when really everytime we moved the ball around the Dolphins were opened.
Very well put EA our lack of polish really hurt us tonight. We looked lost coming out of our own end and noboy really stood up to do the really hard work, we need the radradra style of running out of own end. There was plenty of oppurtunity but nobody could really see the play or look that far ahead
"I think in a perfect world if everyone was fully fit, Russell wouldn't get any game time. I was expecting that with Lomax coming to the club it would spell the end of him but it hasn't turned out to be the case."
"I have never truly understood the idea of never kicking on the forth when camped in your own red zone. Kick on the 4th and better chance of pushing them back with only the Fullback collecting it."
"It is hard for our forwards as Moretti i reckon has earned a start over Williams but he adds impact also. Though Samrani has beaten Guymer so that should be a simple switch. Unless Ryles bites the bullet and simplifies Hopgood's role by playing him…"

We do lomax
I agree, rate him as the best centre in the game.
At one stage, we had 8 more sets and 5 more penalties than the Dolphins did. At that point, we should've been up by 2 or 3 tries.
Moses was missing for large chunks of the game and Dyldo Brown kills the play just about every time he touches it.
Blaming the ref is a cop out.
We had plenty of possession and chances to win and win well but yet again, we well and truly fucked ourselves.
Is Jason Ryles just Stephen Kearney in disguise??
I thought that from the moment he was mentioned.
We need David Fifita we need him so we can attract other players

JAC, Kautoga and Samrani were positives.
