Sean Russell

Rusty is the type of player you hope you only need to call on a few times a year unfortunately he's getting a extended run again.

I'll give him some credit as a centre he looks more comfortable he's had a go and and I can't fault him defensive has been improved.

His goal kicking is not NRL standards im sure Sean would say that but he's putting his hand up to do it. My understanding is Mitch isn't on account of the bone sorness in his left foot the transfer of weight when kicking can lead to issues you have to wonder how no one else can step up Dylan Brown was a kicker coming through the grades but I bet he didn't put his hand up Ryley is a young player its a big step but he did against the Tigers. I'll cut Sean some slack on the kicking department.

Depending on simmos injury we may have a few more weeks with Sean at centre im ok with this but jeez our lack of development in backs over the years is terrible

  • Agreed,Also I've been disappointed in penisni it seems his going backwards which is worrying me.He used to be cracka don't know what's wrong with him now and honestly I'll just say it we need to go to the market and sign a good centre to cause geez there disappoing aswell

  • I like Penisini but if he can't add passing to his game he needs to go.

    • He fukt up 3 trys by not passing.

      • Bombed his own try, followed up by a penalty fmd this guy is the worst

        • and what i dislike is once again he was left lying in the ruck after a tackle, made no attempt to get up and get back to the line and the dolphins scored on that play. he has done this so many times, it really irks me.

          • I saw that dozens of times last night it's what losing the collision looks like. How many times did our fowards get scattered last night. At what point did you see any of our fowards skittle there opposites.I mean sure that happend to Russell so when in Rome.So get used to it because we are going a way from that physical middle and are going for width and finesse.

  • I think in a perfect world if everyone was fully fit, Russell wouldn't get any game time. I was expecting that with Lomax coming to the club it would spell the end of him but it hasn't turned out to be the case.

  • Simmo going down really hurt us.

read he has signing with I.Moses bringing in the heavies now, previously was self managed."

"The womens game certainly has improved just from a skill level over what it was a few years ago. Sharks did seem the more likely to go on with it, but they hung in there for the win. That left centre was amazing to watch and was a threat every time…"
