Maybe Richie should get a game. Ryles was not happy. I doubt he gets dropped and he is 23 so still has time to turn it around but man he is low in confidence.
He has been getting worse not better, he just doesn't concentrate enough at this level, most of his errors are unforced. I really can't see it getting better without a decent stint in reserve grade, unfortunately we don't have the depth to drop him at the moment.
Some times it can be as simple as having a week off. Reserve grade is not always the best option. Simply just have a week off, clear your head, Samrani plays and he could come back freshened up. Confidence is an issue. Can still technically drop him, do it before a bye round perhaps so back to back weeks off.
I mentioned the same with Brown at the start of the year. Just get away for a tiny bit then come back ready to go. If that does not work then go to reserve grade. He has played 90 games now, i think he has earned to have that as an option.
Again, the kid is yet to turn 23. He has so much time in his way to fix things.
Tago and Penisni (arguably two of the slowest outside backs in the NRL) up against Koula and Saab (the fastes outside backs in the NRL). Our forward pack should be able to handle their shit forward pack. But their 1-7 probably out shines ours.
I do not think they pick Tago. i reckon it is Samrani on that wing, purely based on Ryles picking him there before and playing decent there. Or if he is fit Dunster gets a crack.
"I wouldn't be happy with tonight's performance.
The errors have been there and cost us all season the fact that Newcastle are really really poor saved us tonight. They are a team on the opposite trajectory we are. While it's great having a win Parra…"
"He has shown that he is realistic about where we are and where we should be heading. Earlier in the season he wasn't getting upset by our performances as he expected pretty much what he was getting but as the weeks have passed he is now expecting…"

Surely a blind monk could be more useful.

I don't think you want Samrani defending Koula. He would burn him. Tbf can't see us winning against Manly without Momax. Turbo will carve us up
turbo is busted, he can barely run, they will have jake arthur at 7 aswell. At commbank i think it'll be closer then you think

Not next week EA, a few weeks down the track, cant do it this week with Lomax out. But i feel Samrani will do ok, not great but do a job.
Turbo will be picked for NSW, too much noise around it. Him, Jake, DCE and Olakau'atu.
Yeah like DB still finding his potential maybe once he's 29 he might hit his peak.
