Tigers to meet and discuss releasing Galvin a year early in 2026 but the team getting him will have to pay a transfer fee to get him. Eels is box seat to sign him once approval given.

My concern is why the fek would Galvin come to the eels apart from being an eels fan growing up?, the dogs are a far more attractive destination right now and most commentators on the nrl are suggesting the dogs are in play, most of whom do get inside info.
I usually have good intuition when it comes to these situations but I just can't get a read on this one.
It wouldn't bother me if Dogs get Galvin. More money to go after Sandon Smith or perhaps get one back at the Dogs and go after Mitchell Woods. Just like we did when Panthers too Talagi and we got Iongi.
Young Mitchell can play halfback and old Mitchell moves into no.6
"This speculation and signing players for 2027 is bullshit. No other sport does it, and how can you really plan if you want to develop players. If we don't buy anyone and our juniors don't kick on we are screwed. If we sign someone and our juniors…"
"TCT report that the following were there:
Forwards: J’Maine Hopgood, Ryley Smith, Charlie Guymer, Sam Tuivaiti, Will Latu, Saxon Pryke, Jezaiah Funa-Iuta, Ryda Talagi, Teancum Brown, Tyrese Lokeni, Lachlan Coinakis
Backs: Joash Papalii, Richie…"

What transfer fee. This isn't the EPL......
I think if a player works out an early release can be a transfer fee attached to get the player early. Not sure on amount
The (W)Eels are in motion. This deal will done with the Eels very soon if he's given a release from the final year of his contract.
The dogs talk worries me if I'm honest. I won't count our chickens until an official announcement is made.
Chicken-Counting is an official Parra fan activity

I'm a parra tragic and hate the dogs so easy decision for me but the smart decision if you want to win comps would be dogs.

I'm not going to lie, I want him but if he signs with dogs it could possibly save us from ourselves.
