We are getting better in a short amount of time, with a big roster turnover, a team full of youngsters and a massive amount of salary cap space available in 2026. Personally, I couldn't ask for more in his first season.
*Side note, the game now due to the rule changes and officiating is so hard to follow and want to watch. It's now beyond a joke. I don't watch any other games these days except for the eels. The Simmonson penalty says it all and the reason why.

I'm still baffled about the obstruction try , the Addo Carr play the ball penalty , the fact they didn't reveiw the put down of the first Sharks try , and not to mention the major one also the Simmonson one. That game was probably one of the biggest hoaxes I think we've been on the end of since The Ricky Stuart days when we had some total howlers go against us.
The only smart thing I think I've ever heard Stuart say was that when a teams struggling down the bottom it way for the match officials to pre determine which way a result should go so find themsves subconsciously influencing it to go that way. Not a truer word has been spoken by that flop.
I find myself screaming at the TV only due to the officiating and ridiculous penalties mate.
Remember the days when you only did that because the opposition scored a try.
The games a complete farce and harder to watch or want to follow each year. A penalty can be blown on every tackle or set if the referee or bunker wants.
As soon as the Simmonson replay came up and slowed down for the second time I said "here we go"

Half of me says these referees don't want close games especially when a top tier side is playing the bottom they'll get the top side out in front and it makes there job easier.
The JAC play the ball was a joke, don't police it for weeks and 98% of play the balls are the same.
