          • I'm no noddy u knob

  • I like his confidence but a bit of a risk from him. He isn't proven. He is now in first grade and thus on show. If he fails it is much harder to suggest potential than if he was hidden away a bit in reserve grade with glimpses of talent. Gonna be much harder to show of glimpses in first grade.

  • Nrl 360 just discussed it and Hooper reckons that it is Isaac Moses just agitating the club. Jimmy Graham was the only one who said maybe the eels don't care that much since they have Lomax coming in soon and Talagi is unproven lol

  • Am I the only person worried we may be reading soon that we've signed him on a 15 year deal with options in his favour ?

    • Who BA or the kid????

If it's BA, that's an issue...

      • The kid. Once MON reads about him going on the market , he will be in a mad panic to get his big marquee signing blank contract out and get it done. He should get him over the line by 2026.

  • BA & O'neill only give a stuff about this year and next , not the future development of the club. Brad's contract is his priority hence our aging pack which will be obsolete in two years. This is why jnrs like Sanders and Talagi are last when contract priorities.

BA would rather buy a veteran 32y + prop than sign Sanders or Talagi.

In two years this club will be at the bottom of a bottomless pit without a ladder.  Ball is in your courty be sympathisers.

    • Well I suppose it is better you being inside BA's head Chief..... is there anywhere else you can go?

      1. Chief  how does a coach that's been at a club for a 11yrs not have his club set up the way he wants it ? How isn't the clubs roster bulletproof and able to continue winning regardless who is out or who has left the club. If a coach is given 11yrs the roster the development the success should look something like the storm or panthers both these clubs have lost players had key players injured yet they continue to develop and reinvent themselves to stay successful. Yet we keep accepting and making excuses for BA ,after a 11 yrs your kidding yourselves he doesn't get what he wants or who he wants , or the development or lack off coming through the pathways. His roster and junior development should be challenging every year .
      • The coach has as much to do with development and calls made over the structures around development as anyone else. The coach lives and dies by the roster he has built,  along with the football manager.

All the bs talk that ba has nothing to do with the roster and is solely focused on game days is absolute bs.

"Agree - there are bigger issues in my opinion.
Not sure if BA has the support staff like other teams. You look at the Sharks coaching box, you've got Fitzgibbon, Steve Price and Josh Hannay.
We have Barrett.
