Probably only 2-3 players who can hold their head up after that. Blaize definitely is a talent but way to many average players in this squad. Unsure where they go from here but Blaize should stay at fullback and learn his craft.

Talagi was just as average as the rest of the squad.
Other then trying to tackle players who busted the line, which isn't really his fault I thought he was the only real threat.
Blaze can't tackle
I actually thought the game by Talagi was horrible . Yes he has some nice touches with the footy but he can't tackle and his positional play is atrocious. I get he's young and yes he's a prospect but anyone who suggests he is ready for first grade is kidding themselves. He's at least 2 years away.
The tackling and positioning definitely needs work, but the front line was woeful. I thought he outplayed faalogo behind a badly beaten middle.
💯
He dropped a sitter, which led to a try and he missed several tackles that led to tries.
His positional play is terrible.
He is not ready for first grade, and throwing a million dollar contract at him is a monumental waste of salary cap space.
Compare him to the Knights replacement fullback Armstrong. They are miles apart.
Yes but Armstrong is like 4 years older.
The long and short of it is that he's not ready and at the very least he is 2 years away
Definitely NOT two years away. His positional play defensively needs a lot of work as does his tackling technique. The key is giving him games at fullback, when gutho comes back talagi needs to play fullback in reserve grade not any other position in first grade.
Yes he is. He's 2 years away - 21/22
Absolutely needs res grade experience first and foremost...disgusting to put pressure on the kid in fg without nurturing him in reserves first .
if I'm advising him unless we change coaching direction now I'd advise he shifts to where he can be developed to his potential
