Yeah, it's rediculous why they haven't done it yet already with all the injuries that occur. It would improve the product on tv. I think you only need to go to a 5 man bench though, with an 18th man still.
It's getting to a stage where even the lesser concussions are treated more seriously it may even help them make the decision to keep the players off easier .
"Therein lies our problem. The majority of our FG squad are back up players at other clubs. In fact, a lot were actually that before coming to us, even Iongi.
Iongi = back up at Penrith. Simmonson = back up Canberra. Pezet = back up at Melb. Hopgood…"
"If they had all that gear on, I think the modern day footballers would end up killing each other in the collisions.....that said the old fashioned footballer was probably "street" tougher but probably not professionally tougher."

In 2000 season because it started early because of the Olympics they had a 6 man bench.
4 interchange 2 reserves if the reserve came on the person he replaced was off.
Id like a variation of that 3 man 6 interchange bench.
2 reserves good coaches could be real tactical with the reserves plus they cover injuries aswell
Sounds interesting offside could work well
