      • Agreed, EA. Pryke & Mataele in the middle had good first contact and stopped any progress through the middle. Made the game one of attrition, in which Moses' kicking game and some good work from Penisini, Kelly and Nanva in backfield meters let the Eels sweat on Dogs errors.

Maybe because the Eels' defense has been so bad that it's easy to miss how a team can attack with their defense?

  • Really happy that JR rewards good performances. Just because some is returning, he doesn't give them their spot back.

    • That is an area that is strong in his coaching. He is invested in those who are best at the time. If a player signs for decent money but someone below him is better, he will play the player below.

That is why i believe he will play Volkman over Pezet if Ronny keeps playing well.

  • Peter gough is the ref well there goes our chance of winning. Any parra player sneezes manly 6 again...All jokes aside i reckon we win this game well on sunday

    • Omg isn't that the same ref that fucked us up the ass without any lube?? Geez we have no chance

  • Rewarding those who perform. I wonder if Ryles was not pleased with Kelma against GC. But also, very impressed with Guymer and Williams on an edge. Kelma is a better off the bench impact player.
Though reward Pryke and Mataele who were given a chance.

  • If only Mataele had the fitness, he'd be starting every week. The guy has some size and power to him.
If Pryke added another 5kg of muscle, he'd be a starting 13 IMO.

"Penisini is sitting 6th on that list, Daz.
Absolutely, JAC was / is massive, in attack & defense - his strength isn't hit ups / metres, but he's irreplaceable, imo. Very smart player.
