The Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce the signing of experienced forward Jack de Belin for the 2026 NRL season, with an option in the Club’s favour for the 2027 season.
Parramatta Eels Head Coach Jason Ryles said de Belin will be a valuable addition to the team, bringing experience to a young roster.
De Belin has played 244 NRL games since his debut in 2011. He has represented New South Wales in State of Origin and made six appearances for Papua New Guinea, where his grandmother was born, playing a pivotal role in their victory in the inaugural Pacific Bowl Final.

Your point is right and we need that single or more players to achieve same. Badge's point is right though, mind you if we win a comp or even make a GF .....we may have superstars as a result.
Badge, we did have a number of superstars in that side, who will qualify for us to say so afterwards is the mute point. Kenny, Sterling, Grothe, Ella were not there at that point, Cronin, Price yes.
How many did Penrith have at the same stage.....all hypothetical just the same.
Good
Good signing.. Only need a great 6 - and we are good to go..
Yes, we need a 5/8 that is strong.
I like JDB,S controlled aggression. He can put a hit on.
So that means we have 29 spots filled for next year. That includes Lane, Matto & Hands who are on the outer.
I believe Lane will retire and will be announced soon meaning we have 28 spots filled for 2026
I think we will sign one more person for next year and keep 1 spot open for a mid season signing like we always do
Gees that's inspiring.
Lock in bottom 3 again based on these signings.
