Ennis jerking off over d Brown.  Must have mentioned a dozen times how Newcastle have the greatest player in the comp. And him going "up the highway " to Newcastle will turn them into a huge force lol.

Ive never seen a commentator jerk off as much as Ennis.

Sure Newcastle have a fine player but 1.4 mil is totally ridiculous.   There's a reason why they are still the spoon favourites despite Brown's signature.  Do you think they'll be spoon favourites if they signed a Moses, Cleary,  Katoa or Jerome hughes or a dozen other players who are on much less than 1.4 mill.

Its a ridiculous contract and Ennis can't see it

  • Big difference when playing test footy. Samoa were bog average in the second half. Lets see how he goes behind the knights pack lol.

  • Brown's in the conversation for Golden Boot this year. NZ have a great forward pack and they provide a ball runner like Brown the space and time to do his thing. Newcastle have a pop gun set of middles that can barely hold the ball.

    • The quality of the game has certainly gone downhill if Brown is in the running for the Golden Boot.

      • Golden Boot is international football within a single calendar year. Out of the Pacific Champs and the Ashes I'd say Dylan was the most impressive across those games. It doesn't take into account club footy.

        • Yes, and whilst I don't agree with this concept, especially when looking at past winners of same I agree that Dylan is the logical winner. That said many of these awards get manipulated, not the least being our Clint Gutherson who was just plain "ROBBED" of a Dally M.

Don't be surprised that GOLDEN BOY Reece doesn't get it as part of an ongoing promotion.

Final word on the NZ/ SAMOAN Final, that post match celebration was a total embarrassment to all and sundry.

Abdo should find out who was responsible and eject them from any further roles, in the interim the BUCK stops with him.....SHIT SHOW

          • How dylan goes next year depends whether or not the Knights can bolster their pack over the orf season.

If they do Brown will at six be teamed up with halfback Fletcher Sharpe and they would be a good combination, Sharpe is also a talent.

What hardly anyone has reported is Dylan not only took on the line at will yesterday but did so with a freshness and speed that he didn't show last season with us. Now I could be wrong but the reason for that is he wasn't required to do all the defensive work he usually does with us. His team-mates wholeheartedly did their share and he was freed up to be sharp.

I hope he kicks on at the Knights with the proviso that he's off-colour the day they play us.

            • You are deadset right there Richard, for all the theories I have expressed with Dyllan, especially the season before last, he was burnt out by the defence he was doing.

I remember one day he was on the opposition goal line (right side) attacking. The play went to the opposition and they ran down our left side, nearly the full length of the field. Everyone else had given up but Dyllan was last man there at the end chasing! I thought at the time, now he has to get up and carry the attack.....shame on the people on here that never noted or understood such things.

              • That's exactly right Pops that's something there isn't a stat for putting yourself in the picture just in case.If your not watching and  just watch highlights with the ball that goes missing in fans judge of what a player is or isn't.

What Super is saying below is exactly true to DB at this point in his career isn't what people are expecting of him.Even when he goes to Newcastle that's on the coach to come up with a plan to get the best out of him not DB to become something he isn't right now.

The traits are there for him to be that controlling guy but just not at this point in his career.

            • I also think that Foran playing 7 assisted. He handled all the organising and kicking and just left Brown to running the ball. We've seen that with Dylan and Mitch in the past. When Mitch plays, Dylan looks great because he doesn't need to lead the side around and can run the ball.
