Inside word I've been hearing is that Parra were in the running for Keaon Kalamatangi, that changed Friday when the Roosters jumped in with their '300k (per year for 3yrs) third party property portfolio'.

Back to the drawing board Mark O'Neill. Again!!!!

  • Is it Mark o'neill's fault the roosters have more money to offer?

I was hoping we could blame global warming or ISIS

    • True, he is working with what he has.

Plus Roosters have a prestige about them that only a few clubs can match.

      • So we just sit back and cop it up the clacker minus the lube?

        • Well just stating the reality.

      • Paper bags clubs will match

    • Third biggest CBD in Australia, yea you'd think we'd having more pulling power.

      • What does Parramatta really have to offer, though? Compared to the Eastern Suburbs... Let's see - there's the river. A rather large park. Quality Indian cuisine. Light rail. The list is endless, I suppose...

In all seriousness, there needs to be some serious work done to the salary cap. It needs to be far more flexible than what it is now. You simply can't have a fixed cap, in conjunction with additional TPA's.

        •   No it doesn't need to be flexible it needs to be black and white the clubs cap and that's it nothing else

      • What di you want Anal, pulled or lubed?

    • The salary cap means we all start with the same amount of money to spend. None of our current contracts pre-date MoN...so... yes?

"Well next year we have money, as seen how we offered Barnett and Keaon big coin. But you have to remember, as per NRL rules, a club has to spend minimum 95% of their cap. Currently the cap is around $12mil. Meaning 5% of the what can be left is…"
