We all knew he was a mercenary when he sat out for 3 weeks instead of coughing up $4K.
This is really strange. If he is happy to languish in Cup, then that will be the end of his career. At his best he is still good enough to be an NRL player, but clearly he is not putting in his best. It's up to Matto whether he wants to continue his career or go and do something else with his time.
If we are stuck with him for 2026, it would be better to put him to good use.

The players ryles don't won't anymore had it to good for to long. There was no accountability the spots were never under threat. If the bush bum was still coach ryley Smith, Sam tuavati,longi just to name a few definitely wouldn't be here. Any reg and gutho would of been extended 3 more years each.
