Luca Moretti and Matt doorey

Jeez how much better they are and how much they fly under the radar.

Matt doorey-Was pretty average last year under Arthur but wow the fast improvement in his game this year under ryless. His looked incredible running hard and putting a shot on here and there.

Luca Moretti-Same with moretti, ryless has gotten so much out of him and doorey cause the improvement is crazy compared to last year.

The Jason ryless DNA is being imprinted in this side and I love it.

  • Moretti always showed signs of this. He just built a better frame this past off season and has made a big difference. Doorey never had a good shot as our second rowers were always better at the time. Now he has developed into a middle but kept his leg speed and got rid of the errors. Happy for them both.

  • Doorey is a good backup first grader. A "goer". etc....Happy to keep him and he can alternate between NRL and cup. Can see a similar trajectory for Samrani.

Moretti, on the other hand, while getting into his prime, I think should get 2-4 years now of being absolutely top quality. Fingers crossed.

  • I rate Moretti but Doorey can't be in the 17 moving forward

    • Doorey probably won't be in the team next week 🫣😂

  • I really really really admire Doorey, I think he is all heart and wants to be an NRL player, but he just isn't good enough. I hope he can bulk up over the off season and try his hand at prop, with his leg speed, he could be a great sub for Moretti.

Moretti has always shown his mongrel, but BA dropped him after a few dropped balls. I would have played a Moretti with a dropped ball in him then some of the plodders BA picked ahead of him.

  • Never been a Doorey fan if he left tomorrow I'd have to say I'd open the door for him.

He doesn't really offer that much if I'm honest and he's just more of the same that's left really.

Hes also seemingly injury prone aswell.
