Regardless of that, we need to demonstrate we can do TPA's willingly and legally. If I was a player and offered a legal TPA rather than say a Politis golf game or a Laudy grocery basket with shares attached then I would as a player be attracted to that legal same....even as a player agent/manager I would prefer that.
All we know of course is that could be being raised and discussed at board level now. The board of course is effectively a democratic board and not made up of cronies. The leadership needs to address that and yes its only right that we (the fans) find out what we are doing. At least after the event, even letting the public know why we were not succesful in a quest!
I still find it intriguing as to what players actually do to receive their sponsorship, i.e they maybe 3rd party but have you seen any specific players endorsing "said" products?
I can remember Thurston with his head gear and Broncos RACQ but what about the rest of them?
PS I accept that some clubs are more attractive than others, but we should be able to make ourselves more atractive than PNG, PERTH, CANBERRA, PENRITH,TIGERS the GONG and NEWCASTLE.....even MELB as a place to live?

Wouldn't you claim though that majority of clubs try to find their way to illegal distribute TPA's? It is like in Cricket where ball tampering happens, everyone does it, just some are dumb enough to get caught. That was us. Everyone does some sort of illegal TPA's, we were just dumb enough to get caught doing it.

Eels, Dogs and Souths are the biggest fan bases in Sydney. When Dogs and Souths were awful in early 2020's and 2000's respectfully, fans were nowhere to be seen. i even had some mates who were Dogs fans supporting a 2nd team.
We got three spoons in 6 years, 2012-2018, you still saw Parramatta fans out and about. Particularly in my area which is Wests Tigers heavy.

Am I the only person that thinks Keaon is slightly overated? He is a stat padder. Makes tackles and runs deccent meters. Really similar to May. But when you look at their impact per carry its levels below AFB, Haas, Tapine, Whyte and those elite forwards.
I would still want him at the club for sure but I think people rate him in the elite level. I think he is slightly below that.
