All the footy chatter today about this full time try by Latrell. What peoples vibe on this.
Play to the whistle, yes fair.
but for me lacks spirit of the game.
How would we feel if we were on the receiving end?
He went down on the knee signalling game over, so broncos didnt crash him.
Feel might lose respect from other players.

Fair play.
Broncos should have tackled him or attempted a one on one strip.
I didn't think it was in the spirit of the game and thought it was a bad look.
I know you play to the whistle but can you imagine the uproar if Mitchell takes the knee and Payne Hass lined him up and smashed him.
All the Latrell apologists would be saying Hass was a dog as Mitchell had taken the knee.
You can guarantee all the South's players would have run in for a fight.
I hope next time he is in a similar situation he gets hit hard after he has relaxed as the excuse will now be him scoring that try means you can't trust he considers the play or game dead.
Great field goal
This.
Yep typical dog play from a dog player.
Correction - an X factor dog player!
Wish we had one those LOL
Yeah but that try was irrelevant to the final result
It was just not in the spirit of the game IMO.
C'mon, spirit of the game? Have you seen the amount of knees and elbows that are used in every tackle? Fingers in the face. Creeping over the 10m line. Slow playing the last 5 minutes of every game. Faking cramps.
If anyone other than Latrell did this no one would bat an eyelid.
Play to the whistle, the refs control the game. Absolutely nothing wrong with it and it's just the kind of attitude I wish more of our players had - always being hungry for a try. The Broncos were lazy and they got what they deserved.
To be fair Cap, i think there are a majority of players that many would complain about if they did this. Luai being one as well, not just Latrell. But also, as i said below, it is not acceptable to some unless we do it then it is ok. I am all for supporting my club but at the same time some are so bias that something wrong can be seen as amazing instantly.
My question is if one of the defenders smashed him when he was feining surrendering how would he have reacted?, would they have been penalised for using unnecessary force?.
I don't have too much of an issue with it but don't want it to become a regular part of the game.
Look at the end of the day, if say Moses did the same 98% of people here will say how good was that. But another person from a different club does it and it is a bit more split due to morality.
I had no issues with it at all to be fair, play to the whistle.
