  • Not concerned.  His future is probably in the back row. Definitely not a starting centre.  His best quality is his ability to adapt anywhere on the feild but in my opinion he isn't a priority.

    • he can play wing centre second row and one thing most notably wrong with our roster is depth. So he is a priority and his ceiling is still high whether in second row or whever. His a keep

      • He's not a priority.   A priority would be someone we can lock into a position for years to come.  Samrami is a back.up that can be filled by anyone.

Do you think the panthers would make Samrani a priority?  Cmon. Hes way down the list of future signings.

  • I quite like him but unlike most I quite like him as a winger. I think we should sell him on that right wing spot after Kelly. But anyway, not the end of the world if he goes.

  • Not sure how to feel about this one. But what I do know is we need a quality rep back.

  • He's better than Sean Russell.  But not much better. Definitely not a priority signing

  • If he's our touted starting centre then we are in big trouble..

He try's hard but won't ever be a premiership winning centre

  • Odd one. He played well, though in an average team. I would have liked just for him to partner Best as an example and Penisini goes. But if Ryles prefers Penisini and another Centre, so be it. He's earned to right to test the market.

  • If he wants more money than we can offer then he can see what's out there. Not sure who's likely to pay more than us as he is regularly in our starting side due to lack of other options.

Maybe he will join Russell in Perth?!?

  • I like Samrani. Cover centre, wing and backrower and pretty reliable. Good in the air but lacks the xfactor and speed to be an elite outside back.

The fact some people here saying we can't loose him speaks volumes about the lack of quality in our current outside backs. If he wants to be a first choice nrl player at a good club he needs to develop himself into a backrower. No top team would have him as a starting outside back.

Overall, would like to keep him but not going past 400k. He is the perfect "17" to me.

"For most of these players we can afford to see how they begin the year before making a decision as I doubt clubs would be banging the door down to sign them immediately."
