Recently, I experimented by pulling up some grass on my land. There are a couple of areas that had struggled for many years to grow grass under the shadow of some massive pine trees. Even when I surgically removed low lying branches from said trees, the grass still did not grow. This lack of grass was weighing heavily on my brow. Actually, the wife was displeased , which was definitely weighing heavily on my brow, so, dejected and desperate, I took a punt, uprooted some grass from non-descipt locations and replanted these into those dirt only areas. But, the magic came when I bought a manual whacker packer and flatened the bejesus out of each mound. By some devine intervention the grass took off and I am very pleased to say that where there was once dirt, a decidely green hue has covered the area. Now you could appreciate the joy this brought me. These are the moments that make life worthwhile. The beauty of prevailing against the odds! The grass, and the whacker packer, shone brightly in the shadow of the pines. Like the White Wizard , who, upon gallant steed , shone the light over the armies of Mordor, allowing the allies to safely retreat , so stands the replanted grass and the whacker packer, proud, virtuous, and inspirational for generations to come.
AJ asked the question not me. I'm responding to the question AJ asked. Perhaps ask AJ or Poppa as he seems to know what to do! Well at least he thinks he does 🤣. Then the real question should be asked of recruitment as to why they gave him a season contract when there are obviously better options available in Volkmann
offer him the bulldogs as a 7 and we'll take galvin as a 6.
However being serious for a moment, let's just say we are in the hunt for a top 8 spot in about 6 or so weeks. having a genuine half available even as a backup on the extended bench is essential. When all hands are back on deck, i feel a Pezet may become a requirement if we are anywhere near that top 8.
Lets not forget if Ryles fails to play finals this year, most of us are peeved, if he does make the finals, we'll ! Ryles gets a lot of breathing space next year to continue his long rebuild phase. There will be a lot on Ryles mind that's for sure.
I can't believe that after the start from absolute hell this year, we are only 2 wins out of the top 8. Go figure.
Blue Eel, I did the unicorn, but not sure finals are within this team's grasp. Too many things needed to go right and nothing has went right all year! But I interpret you that JR might put Pezet at 18-19 as cover for a half, and I agree there
All hands won't be on Deck Bluey, love your Unicornman Vision but we have Hopgood, Simmonsson and Doory out for the season....throw in a couple of other long termers, don't forget we have got to get Moses through an origin series (goodluck on that one) LOL
What a bullsh%& situation we have with Matterson refusing retirement, refusing being traded, not wanted in England, and unable to play on $750k of the salary cap after taking up his own Players only option for this year.
This contract between the club and Matto, must surely rank as one of the worst ever, in terms of value for the club.
"Or, maybe Pezet's defense was a known problem but not the scale of it? And also that once Pezet arrived, not enough attention had been given to Pezet wanting to put himself on the radar so Broncos wouod 'see him' and the 7 jumper would be his? I…"
Parramatta eels next five-eighth is looking more and more likely to be an external signing as we really don't have the answer internally. The main candidates the club will be looking at are Chanel Harris - Tavita 27, Kodi Nikorema 32, Jack Cole 22…

"We played above our weight IMO - and we hung in there; Moses also kicked for more yards than they did - this also created fatigue combined with the less errors; just look at our spine compared to them; our guys did v well and Volk and Pap both had…"

One of the worst characters ever. Real piece of ...work for many reasons. Wish him the worst.
Hope doctors take all his money.
