Interesting what he's saying about how if these rules persist there will be changes to recruitment, with the small utility forward less important and the big man gaining prominence.
We have plenty of both in the youth setup.

His two comments about the Manly and Warriors games were spot on - we were in both games until half time (possession) and Warriors 14-18 and got dusted.
He probably did not play Matale / Brown earlier due to the amount of players out and using less experienced players. You need a mix
I look at this Brisbane Cows Warriors Storm and Dragons I actually thought physically we were overwhelmed hence why the they were hunting for a middle before the season and still are now.
Defensively with the game wanting to be made so quick winning the collision is huge absolutely a must now both in attack to create ruck speed & defensively with first contact to slow the ruck down hence why big physical explosive middles still have a place.
Right now I think physicality is what's missing.His comment especially in the Warriors and even the Cows game I never got the idea we were in any control of the game.Maybe the last 5 of the Cows game but score regardless the Warriors had us covered.
If you watched the highlights of just NQ then us you'd think NQ put 50 on us with the amount of metres they made. We were never in control yet won ugly. Completions won us the game.
