Reckon you are right on with your comment. The ref video ref was atrocious and it's just becoming too much really. That Simmo one took the damned dopey award cake!!
Nicho definitely be happy tonight he needed that as nrl poster man he was much better than he has been tho.Was as far as descisions made early point you mentioned...was told in the old days it was same with giving some jockeys a bit of an easy run turn about kinda thing. Wests is the main one they'll stretch to support I reckon this year.
You never get calls when you are struggling. Sharks are a good team and most nrl fans will just leave it at that. Its easier to ignore a few calls here and there. Dont forget the bounce of the ball 'literally' wasnt on our side tonight as well which tends to happen for struggling sides. Its like the ball knows the plan too.
I must say though id be interested in listening to the referee audio in the first 10 minutes. I could be wrong but it did sound like he was controlling the speed in a direction... But then he backed off and I think he stopped this after their first try.
Yep it was obvious. It was set for set early and then he swung all the momentum their way with 3 penalties in a row to gift them momentum - off this they score and so would almost any other team with that ball.
Sure the penalty count evened up by the end but the crucial moments of the game, the momentum was swung in their direction only
Now you can say that maybe we were our own worst enemies and deserved to be penalized but to me the ref was a walking advert for incompetence & preferential refereeing.

Some might call it outright cheating.
I rewatched the first 6 minutes or so. I was wrong. The ref wasnt that bad. Just a biased fan's perspective in the moment I guess.
He needs to be punished!!
Disgusting shit ref!
Yep agree PP
Who was the idiot in the bunker?
Great question!! What a Farkin incompetent piece of #$&@
Fellas, after Cronulla losing last week and the issues here did we think we'd get many good calls?
Not withstanding we made some poor reads but the officiating overall was poor like many games this season
I thought the McInnes Try was a total fing disgrace
