That has to be one of the worst referring games I have ever seen. The penalty for stopping a try is so against the reason for the game it is ridiculous. The ones that made the call should get 5 weeks on the bench.

I thought the ref on the field wasn't too bad. Few dud calls but the penalty count did end up even.
the bunker on the over hand was absolutely putrid. Confirming that try in the corner before a proper look (the on field ref stopped hynes kicking so the bunker would confirm grounding). I personally thought that was a knock on but could be forgiven. The simmo penalty was disgraceful. Absolute farce and would've been a 7 tackle restart at a time where we were starting to win the arm wrestle. Completely halted our momentum.
I am not one to dis the officiating of a game but I have to agree. Some awful decisions, and not 1 50/50 call went our way.
The boys really showed up for this one and should hold their head high. Really frustrating game to watch.
The McInnes try was the exact definition of an obstruction. Yes Kautoga did tackle the man but he was a lead runner in front of McInnes and blocked the eels defender. Very frustrating game to watch
100% on the Mcinnis try, every week in the 20 we may as well have two runners shoulder to shoulder attacking the same hole and one acting as an NFL blocker. The defender has no choice but to try and tackle the player running at the hole the ball is going to so the moment there is two runners it has to be an obstruction. Kuatoga is doing the right thing and defending the space what else do they want him to do in a split second the pass is thrown he has to be making the tackle otherwise he gets run over. So obviously an obstruction
I pride myself on not blaming refs, but the penalty with Ronaldo was a joke, but that aside, the Mcinnes try, if another attacking player is in front of his team mate and hinders the defence it's a penatly, to call poor defensive read is bullshit, he is front of his team mate. These games are almost decided before kick off. The video ref was a joke and would say inept is being kind.

Nicho definitely be happy tonight he needed that as nrl poster man he was much better than he has been tho.Was as far as descisions made early point you mentioned...was told in the old days it was same with giving some jockeys a bit of an easy run turn about kinda thing. Wests is the main one they'll stretch to support I reckon this year.
