I just don't like the way Ryles showed his hand saying he's very interested in Galvin when he becomes available. I also don't believe a word Grub Gould says. This is starting to stink.

Not sure on dogs. He's a 6 - and Burton ain't no 7... can't see this happening.. Mitchell Woods is the next big 7 coming through there pathway system..Maybe Burton to 13..
Firstly, i do not mind that Kendoza if that is what will happen. But many here will not like it as it slows down how fast we will be ready to be competitive. It will simple as that. If our 1 and 9 were more experienced, putting in a young 6 would be fine to be competitive.
In 2019 we did have Brown and Mahoney as young options but still had Moses and Gutho. Now we just have Moses.
I did not see anything wrong with Ryles showing interest in Galvin as everybody knew we would be after him. It wouldn't change the Dogs interest in him either way or make them feel the need to go for him harder.
Parra at this stage can only him offer him money and come back to boyhood club. Moses connection is there too but can only go so far. Dogs have said they see Galvin as a Lock, could be smoke and mirrors to not rock the boat on Burton but they are also invested in Mitchell Woods at 7. So if Galvin comes, Burton is the one i reckon who makes way. If he makes way we should make a play.
But i said in another post i have not heard it is Canterbury, not saying it is not, just going off my strong word from Galvin's dad himself it is not Dogs. But also nothing was mentioned it was Galvin. No secret meetings, no manager meet up. Just timing off Sexton talks stalled, Gus mentioning Sexton has work to do and his twitter comment of things happening behind the scenes. DCE is available, Reynolds is available also. Finau Latu trade could happen at Dragons. Not saying it is not the case but nothing at this stage shows Galvin to Dogs.
I think it is a done deal there myself always was we will get someone there are up and comers both at Parra and other clubs people are leaving clubs all the time plus I think we need a prop and back rowers first
Could be but all the information i have points to that not being the case, if it is Dogs it is only recently not all along. But you are right too in that we need to prioritise forwards as well. If anything should prioritise forwards over a 6, if you have no go forwards your new and improved 6 ain't doing anything.
"Great post, Bert. It's great to see you back a bit more often.
HOE (and anyone interested), not sure if you listen to the SC Playbook Podcast at all? They had Adam Driussi (Bulldogs Chariman) on the Podcast this week and it was really interesting…"

Won't be the end of the world for me. I'd rather buy an older 5/8 for a couple of years and wait for our youngsters.
