    • I say get Sandon Smith any way need a great back up

      • Are you saying Smith as a back-up? If so he wont come here to be a back-up. Plus we are extending Volkman to be the back-up.

        • Piss off Volkman he no good and have Smith on the bench he could play hooker 5/8 or half

  • He's bulldogs bound. He's old Westfield's sports mentor is on the coaching staff at the dogs. Dogs have a good roster we are dead last with no signings made for 2026 yet. The only thing we are doing is pissing off players with none coming in as yet. Also gus does the negotiating and we have the frank ponissi of the west in mark O'Neil. Canterbury are a well run professional club thst can offer way more to Galvin then what parra can.Apart from the money what else can parra offer to entice Galvin?

    • The only other thing that we can offer, other than money, is he grew up loving the club as the family still does. But as i said before, what in any articles, when DCE is available also, does it link Galvin as a certainty to Canterbury? Nothing, it is purely just hey Dogs are saying they are working behind the scenes. Hey Galvin is available, it is more likely that.

Also, about us not making signings. It is true and let's hope we have made signings or have that plan in place or are in big trouble. But if we have made signings we are not announcing them anytime soon and do not need to.

      • Fair enough Lb. You make some good points. I'm not fussed about signings atm if ryles is investing in the juniors then that's even better. All we really need is couple of decent edge players and a decent prop. I'm excited to see how matale goes Friday night he's been knocking on the door for a while now.

        • Mataele is a feel good story as he was an edge prodigy, big raps on him and his defence was poor and had injuries quite a bit. Moved to the middle late 2023 and played there last year, simplifying his game and was a lot better. Now being rewarded. It is a nice depth option to have in the future. Cheap and reliable.

      • Why we dont need to i think we do to cheer us up something to look forward to next year

        • I'm looking forward to not having the Arthur family involved with the club.  Isn't that enough for you Arnold??

          • I dont know what you mean Chief

            The Arthurs all gone
