I just don't like the way Ryles showed his hand saying he's very interested in Galvin when he becomes available. I also don't believe a word Grub Gould says. This is starting to stink.

Whenever the Roosters get under pressure in the media there's always some journos quick to drum up other controversies to keep them off the back page .
The roosters getting hammered about recruitment and retention, question marks over their ability to develop footballers ,quick rehash a Galvin story to engage the large Eels, Dogs and Tiger fan base.
Braith Anasta keeps saying Parra havent signed Galvin. We can't til November 1 give a formal offer or until Wests let him speak elsewhere. What a dumb comment.
Riccio on NRL 360 thinks Parra still. Hooper was smirking and laughing at him as he is a Balmain boy from back in the day and glorfied Parra hater. Quite frankly i want us to get Galvin just for that reason, to see Hoops squirm.
The rebuild needs to start from next year, not 2027 or beyond.
If Galvin hasn't already had a secret handshake with the Eels and Tigers refuse to release him before 2027, I would prefer the club focus on getting Sandon Smith and use that extra cash savings towards getting decent forwards.
As good as Galvin may 'potentially' be, behind a shithouse forward pack, he won't be the saviour this club is desperate for. Look at Ponga and the Knights. I'd much prefer a balanced team than a team of a couple overpaid stars that can't deliver, much like Moses and Brown who can't even win us a game.
If there is no Deal with Galvin we should at minimum be putting out rumours we are interested in Sandon to take away some leveage I.Moses has over us.
Sandon is a really skillfull player so I wouldnt be dissapointed if we signed him instead.

Exactly if the club Is Galvin or bust then you know where the issue has always been.
Realistically Parra should have multiple options on the table to replace DB multiple a long term short and intermediate options. Not just a all eggs recruitment strategy.
"I reckon the Dogs and Sharks have the 2 best centre pairings imo.
I agree he is doing his job to his credit and another thing he does well that not many talk about is bringing the ball out he doesn't shirk his hit ups there either coming out of…"
"Araz does look good but Richie hasn't looked bad either. He started the season quite well. In any case, I'd invest in one centre and groom someone else from the juniors if Will Penisini doesn't improve."

They like Bailey Haywood though at either 6 or 9.

Gus was pretty stern a few weeks ago they wouldn't get into the Galvin thing. Not much of a story to me. Him and Burton would never work anyway

Moses can win us a game, maybe not as consistently but he can win us a game.
Yep I don't mind Sandon. He would be a really good buy if Galvin falls through.
