  • If he ends up there the DOgs need to be investigated

  • Doggies are on the verge of a premiership window, if not already in one.

Gus & co have been very astute with investing money in certain positions, without over paying, creating what could be a champion team. i hope im wrong but is Galvin going to shift Burton to 7 to accomodate a young man whose still finding his way in 1st grade?

    • No if he goes to the Dogs Galvin be 7 or they bulk him up bit play him lock

  • If he does go to the Dogs then Gus should be called out for ever as a shit dribbler.

  • Personally, I'd be happy with Sandon Smith. He's unwanted at the Chooks and would cost half the money Galvin would. Smith is also a young player on the rise and maybe I'm a bad judge but I just don't see this stratospheric ceiling that so many predict for Galvin.

Also, with the money saved, we can invest in another quality prop (or two if Junior retires at season's end).

    • Yep agree,  really rate the kid.

    • I say get Sandon Smith any way need a great back up

  • He's bulldogs bound. He's old Westfield's sports mentor is on the coaching staff at the dogs. Dogs have a good roster we are dead last with no signings made for 2026 yet. The only thing we are doing is pissing off players with none coming in as yet. Also gus does the negotiating and we have the frank ponissi of the west in mark O'Neil. Canterbury are a well run professional club thst can offer way more to Galvin then what parra can.Apart from the money what else can parra offer to entice Galvin?

    • The only other thing that we can offer, other than money, is he grew up loving the club as the family still does. But as i said before, what in any articles, when DCE is available also, does it link Galvin as a certainty to Canterbury? Nothing, it is purely just hey Dogs are saying they are working behind the scenes. Hey Galvin is available, it is more likely that.

Also, about us not making signings. It is true and let's hope we have made signings or have that plan in place or are in big trouble. But if we have made signings we are not announcing them anytime soon and do not need to.
