Hard to feel sorry for the bloke when he goes on national tv a few weeks ago denies any interest in a player then signs him a few short weeks later. Media and fans are absolutely crushing his credibility and it's just a bad look for the game when a player takes 500k less to join the club that Gus is the head of. Pressure will firmly be on the bulldogs this season as anything less then a title will lead to a backlash

Macy we were a huge chance we just didn't get it over the line.According to what's being reported upto Friday night he was coming to the Eels he's consequently changed his mind Saturday and then made it known he chose the Dogs over us.From reports the Parra officials were very confident of getting him over the line after representing there upgraded 2nd offer.
It wasn't enough and he made it known that he thought Ciraldo and the Dogs were a better option for him and his development as a player going foward.

The kid asked for a release last year before JR and his team had coached a game; then again knocked em back on huge deal coz he strongly said he wanted to develop his game imo this was always gonna be to go to dogs with his loved teacher etc etc and laundys assured deals he's never lose out on. How the hell was new guy on block JR ever gonna compare to his trusted beloved teacher to develop his game? How would he have known that months ago? He'd look like an egg to do that for mine.
What I'm shocked about is the deal isn't for two years with dogs Perth factor etc ...it says he is getting a motza in laundy shares to me.

My dad and uncle used to do all the law stuff for arthur when he was just starting out in hotels - he also went to joeys with Arthur and I was in some social circles with Stu via boyfriends for a while .
I'd say there's also been opportunities made via laundy hotels for maybe family members wanting to get into management of hospitality mb or similar
it's very hard to compete when a sponsor is as big as them with options that could assist a player or their friends / family
