After last week's fairytale opening of our new stadium, the eels face a very desperate knights team with just 1 win from their first 6 games of the season.
Nathan Brown will be hoping more than anyone that his side can get a win and I'd expect a big performance from them. Will it be enough to get over a rampaging eels team? Will the eels crawl back into their shell and put in a poor performance?
It's quite common for a team to win by a big margin to then lose the following week.
I'm guessing that this young team and BA are onto this and we see a good, tough performance.

We need to get back to work today. With the Knights down on confidence we need to apply the screws early .
Line speed and what we’ve been very lax on pressuring the kickers is essential we want them feeling suffocated from the kickoff and allow desperation into their game early which is closely followed by mistakes.
unrelenting should be our mantra today. I don’t expect a flogging either way today , I expect to lose the penalty count , not get the rub of the green but expect us to be clinical hanging our hat on a defence that moves as one frustrating a knights attack that’s far from polished.

Bup: More agree than disagree with you. Impressed that you know a thing or two re the Knights. Today will be the acid test for the Eels. Everything is against them. History, virtually always get beat up there. Crowd, toxic at any time but worst against the Eels. Players, corny at most times but know how to beat the Eels--aggression, and speed. Referees and Line Men, Weak as urine. Terrorized by the crowd. Anti Eels___by who`s decision? Atmosphere, completely anti -Eels. Totally the opposite from last Monday. Another country. Could be the killer blow for the Eels. To win must score tries. Penalty count will be well against them.
Re West Tigers. Their idiotic coach will be claiming that it was he who turned them from a rabble to a good side in less than a week. The fact is that last Monday the occasion and the atmosphere got to the West Tigers and they folded early. Yesterday was the reverse. They were on their home ground with a fair crowd there close to the play. Took them a few minutes to throw off last Monday but when they did they ran away with it. Nothing to do with the coach though. For the Eels on Monday, it was just the reverse. Everything was pro Eels. The players did step up, however, and played out of their skin. Nothing to do with our coach who will be tested today to get our boys up for this game. No history of doing that.
The Knights are a team we always struggle against and then add in the mental let down after such a big occasion last week, throw in the fact the Knights are at home and very desperate and we have ourselves a danger game.
Going off recent history i am not expecting a win for the eels today Knights 28 Eels 14.
Should have put some money on this score.
Knights will win , I'm too scarred from the past dozen or so years . This is the type of game we tend to get pumped.
