Our left edge is letting us down big time. Sivo and Russell don't give us any go forward and Lane making stupid errors again.
Surely Lane has to be dropped next week.
As everyone has said multiple times, we desperately need some speed on that edge. Surely we have some young, fast hungry players in the lower grades we can debut?
On a bright note I'm liking the look of right edge (unexpected after last week) and Talagi is doing better than expected out the back, despite some issues under the high ball.

Lane needs to retire to finish his education.
We don't Arthur Millar-Stephen is probably the quickest of them but he's out for the season.
The problem with dropping Lane your debuting a new combination it's like playing Russell and Sivo together there's no combination in attack or defense nd they get exposed regardless.
When Moses gets back they'll move DB back to the left to change it up again.
Lane and that young half are having an absolute shocker. To make things worse their brave face / confidence after all their crap plays isn't giving me confidence they will improve and come good in the second half, no, it's just pissing me off more.

I feel sorry for lane, he has been below average of late so is the new target for hate. Passes thrown behind his shoulder in the wet should be caught, cut out passes that are never thrown in our system when he is pushing up and hit hom on the chest, his fault.
Look I'm not happy with his play this year either but don't blame him for things that aren't his fault.
You got to take some of those passes. And also be able to adapt to what's in front of u.
Yet you bagged Sivo who had a pretty decent game apart from dropping one bomb in pouring rain.
Lane was atrocious tonight and he has been all year. The pass he dropped in the first half was very catchable and he has been consistently dropping short balls in contact.
Sivo pretty decent?, wtf, sivo was terrible again.
If you want to bag lane fair enough but seriously don't try to convince me what sivo did tonight was decent.
he wasn't awful. He wasn't our best player but he wasn't awful. Returned the footy pretty well tonight and did a few good things in attack with a couple of nice offloads. We didn't have many awful players tonight actually - lane was awful though
He was outdone by simmonson in every category, maybe he wasn't terrible but if that gives him a decent mark in your books than good for him. Sivo is done in my books and plenty agree. Lane has been poor all season but not every bad play he is involved in is his fault.
