Exactly what Gus said, does anyone believe that bullshite? That's just a way to get around the cap by saying 'Galvin really want to play for us and that's all we can give him'. Can't wait to hear the dollars that have been offered.

Gus - ' Galvin has come out and said his preference is to play at the Bulldog, so we are going to try and accommodate that'

😝😝😝😝

  • What this has done is reveal the true character of both Gould and Galvin. Whichever way this deal went, it was organised weeks/months ago. This is on your watch V'Landys. What are you going to do about it?

    • Nothing - the fact Beesting is in the media and a CEO is a conflict of interest but V'Landys is his bum chum

  • It's going to be interesting to see what the eels response to this is, you can bet they were probably blind sided , O'Neil probably had them convinced he had the situation under control and had a deal pretty much done.

    • "We have space in our cap so we'll be taking our time to select players who fit in with what we are trying to do here. Blah blah blah"

      • Well that is what we should be doing. I mentioned before, the amount of cap space can be a poison chalice as you feel you need to spend it and just buy a big name hoping they fit.

I doubt Ryles is that coach. But although, it wont happen, but with Penrith doing so poorly this year could Matt Cameron look for a new challenge and a new man leads Penrith forward for a fresh start? I mean open cheque can do wonders.

        • The thing is you do need to spend it. There is a minimum amount you have to spend every year.

        • People here have said we needed him a few yrs back.

      • " we are disappointed, Lachy is a fantastic player and we wish him well "

Then probably a line about the young talent we are producing , yada yada yada .

  • Galvin is a rat and Gus Gould full of shit what he said today

  • Reading some of the replies to the story on social media the dogs fans are split about his recruitment,  things could get really ugly for Galvin if they get in a form slump.
