Joash has got the number 1 in this weekends cup.....somebody else is playing 5/8.
Doesn't sound like he is being prepped for the position?
It is not someone. Is is Matthew Hunter. If you get the chance have a look at this guy? Joash is more likely being looked as a utility and Hunter likely a future 5/8.
I am not convinced on Hunter yet.
yeah Pops, it really dosnt does it.
I think we going after Doueihi
You might be right there Arnie. A short term contract perhaps. Doueihi has really lifted since returning from injury. I suspect sometimes that he plays a lot better for his next contract then once signed off he drops his intensity somewhat.
Interesting times.
Yep exactly I'd say JR is still looking.
If it does get to that point and we can't find anyone I still believe Dylan Walkers the guy I turn to to be our 6.
Really happy to see Tuivita back. He has recovered from his ankle injury and has the right attitude to make it into the NRL side immediately. He showed it during cup this week when the opposition made a linebreak (due to our RM winger being shit) and Tuivita was the only one that fully sprinted in cover. He managed to catch up to the support player so he was marked and allowed Twiddle to make the tackle on the person with the ball. Was over 50meters as well so not a short distance. Was impressive speed and great attitude from the young bloke.
With that mindset is how he debuted in Round 1 straight from Flegg. Plus, he could well and truly be our starting Prop by the end of 2026.
That's a decent side, I'm glad big Sam is back, we definitely need him, also think Simonson needs to be at centre, and samarina in the 2nd row.
also Ethan Martin has signed with the north Sydney Bears. Has been named on the wing this week.
definitely not in JR plans
