  • The Sydney Roosters are reportedly prepared to pay more than half of Dom Young’s salary in a bid to secure an immediate transfer to an NRL rival.

The Daily Telegraph reports the Roosters could tip in up to $250,000 of the winger’s $450,000 a year deal.

    200k a year for 2.5 years?

Couldnt say no to that. Stick him next to Lomax and sit back and watch.

    • If this is true the Eels should at least consider it. He has talent but something has happend at the Roosters this year and he hasn't been great. The Eels have plent of depth in the backs and it's the forwards they really need to recruit so it might be best to leave it at that. But him playing outside of Lomax does sound like something that could be really good.

      • 200k is low risk with a lot of upside potential.

        • Agreed but not at the cost of getting some good forwards and another 5/8. Outside of it affecting that, I am for it.

  • We should offer him a deal if Roosters chip in be a cheap buy same with David Fifita Titans chip in be a cheap buy and still have money to buy other players
