So Brown had the chance to leave early and go start his career at the Knights, and in return we would have saved a bit of his money or maybe nabbed another player.

But he decided against that idea and chose to stay and fulfil his contract, basically saying he'll play in whatever position is needed to help out the team.
Seems like Parra have a lot of selfish players on their books worried about themselves.

Question is who benefits from this Brown or Parra? Just a simple one word answer will do.

  • Who benefits from this with one word answer, "or as close as I can get to  it Analyst".

    The Bank Balance.

  • Well he's fore filling his contract this is a new concept.

  • Brown hasn't played well in a long time especially more so since the decision to leave at the end of the season after round 1. Ryles is planning for the future so why keep someone there at five-eighth who isn't going to be there next season or who doesn't want to be there.

  • Brown benefits from this not the team. Seriously what has he really contributed other than being another player making up the 17. Given the fact that's he supposedly a highly rated number 6 in my opinion he's not really lived up to the hype. Maybe he's not as good as the hype suggests. I will say that Brown is a very good defensive player and on the rare occasion does display some talent but I'm not sure why he hasn't produced the abilities he's been recognized as having. He should have gone directly to the Knights and freed up opportunities for Ryles. But it's too late now. Stuck with him until end of season

  • Where did he have the chance to go early?

"Great write up BE, agree with alot of what's been said. Credits to Ryles he has come with a rebuild plan that captures all the pillars that make a club strong and successful of the field.
It was obvious 5 or 6 over paid players needed to be moved…"
